What 5 non-sexual, physical(tactile) sensations do you enjoy most? From Roganda
1. Cuddling with my family. My kids radiate heat, so snuggling up with them on a cold night is wonderful. I love the sleepy way they smile at you and put their arms around you to try to snuggle in just a little closer.
2. Twirling my hair. My parents tell of me actually making the motions of twirling my hair before I even had hair. And I can believe it. Anytime I get lost in thought, or bored, or frustrated, my right hand goes to my bangs and starts twirling and popping. The popping is the best part, because it feels great against my forehead and makes a loud thumping noise that scares the hell out of people unaccustomed to it.
3. Scratching my beard. I love it when people scratch my beard. Probably has something to do with us redheads descending from cats instead of apes...
4. Twirling my pen around my thumb. This is an old debate trick, and my freshman year teachers almost killed me because pens would fly across the room as I practiced. Now, it is second nature, and if I am sitting down, I try to have a pen in my hand to twist and twirl.
5. I agree with Laura, who does not like hugs? Although I give hugs to pretty much anyone, anywhere with little or no provocation.
I see that this topic has brought out the obsessive/compulsive side of me. Most of my favorite things are at this point subconscious things I do to keep my brain focused.
